Round21 celebrates the legacy and future of women’s basketball with the launch of its exclusive collection spotlighting iconic athletes who define the game. Drop 001 features none other than Paige Bueckers, the UConn phenom whose court vision, clutch plays, and leadership have earned her the nickname “Paige Buckets.” Known for her grit and flair, Paige represents the excellence of UConn women’s basketball—a program with 11 national championships and a legacy of producing the game’s greatest stars. This collection is a tribute to her impact, both on and off the court.
Artist Process
Artist Sam Wojciechowicz, aka "Samantha Woj" is an artist who captures the world's most iconic athletes with unconventional tools—leading to unexpected results. Born with a rare genetic disorder called Ectrodactyly, a condition characterized by the absence or malformation of the fingers and toes, Samantha Woj uses sporting goods as her brush. The Paige Bueckers was developed by Samantha Woj holding a basketball dipped in white acrylic paint, ready to hit the black canvas. The result? A piece that captures Paige Bueckers looking forward toward the future firmly rooted in the sport she loves.
