STORY: Hailed as the greatest winner in sports, Basketball Hall of Fame center Bill Russell led the Boston Celtics to an unprecedented 11 championships in 13 seasons. He leveraged his NBA stardom to champion civil rights, participating in the 1963 March on Washington, supporting Muhammad Ali’s anti-Vietnam War stance, and boycotting games in cities with racial segregation and discrimination.
ARTIST: Christion Roney, also known as Chris Canvas, is a multidisciplinary artist and creative director. Recognized most often for his painting, he also explores graphic design, photography, videography and any other medium he decides to put his hands on. The guy just likes to make things!
