FreeStyle: A hand-painted Artist Edition

In partnership with artist Zermillion , we're dropping a 1-of-1 artist edition named "Power Ball," custom made by Zermillion in partnership with round21. Round21 is thrilled to partner with Zermillion, a LA-based graffiti artist , for the first time.

STORY:

From the Artist: Inspired by the Los Angeles wildfires, where I witnessed animals and horses escaping the flames, I envisioned this ball as a symbol of hope. While initially focused on themes of fire, the piece evolved to incorporate healing colors and an uplifting hand. This represents both the challenging times we've faced and the importance of supporting each other and contributing positively to the world. I incorporated my graffiti roots around the number 21, added half-court lines over puzzle pieces, and used colors that evoke positive emotions. Together, these elements blend basketball, art, and community into a unified message of resilience and togetherness.

THE ARTIST:

LA-based graffiti artist Zermillion has been transforming urban spaces with his distinctive artwork for over two decades. Known for merging street art with community activism, he has become a powerful voice in West LA's cultural landscape, where he uses the intersection of basketball and art to inspire change. His work speaks to themes of unity and empowerment, making him a respected figure in both the graffiti scene and local community movements.
